Terms of service
Last updated 1 October 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Worranty, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
2. What Worranty is — and isn’t
Worranty helps you track purchases and surfaces general information about possible consumer-protection routes: EU statutory guarantee rights, national consumer law, card purchase protection, and extended warranties you’ve added.
This is general information, not legal, financial, or insurance advice. We are not a law firm, we don’t review your specific situation, and nothing in the app is a guarantee that a claim will succeed, that our reading of a card or warranty’s terms is correct, or that our automated extraction of an uploaded document is accurate. For your specific situation, consult a qualified professional or your national consumer authority.
3. Your account
- You need an account to use Worranty, and one account per person.
- You’re responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your password secure.
- You’re responsible for what you choose to share with a group you create or join — other members will see it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for anything unlawful.
- Upload documents you don’t have the right to share, or that contain someone else’s personal or financial information without their consent.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service, or access other users’ accounts or data without authorization.
5. No warranty, limitation of liability
Worranty is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including a failed or rejected claim made in reliance on information the app provided.
6. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Account, which permanently removes your data as described in our privacy policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.
7. Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
8. Governing law
Worranty is operated by Sam Potorti, an individual based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (contact: sampot99@gmail.com). These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and any dispute arising from your use of Worranty is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
If you’re a consumer habitually resident in another EU country, this choice of law doesn’t deprive you of any protection you’re entitled to under the mandatory consumer-protection law of that country.
